Small Firms Get Cash Incentives for Apprentices

Prime Minister Cameron has announced a new scheme which encourages businesses to bid for a share in a £6m Higher Apprenticeship Fund.  The scheme aims to encourage create apprenticeships in a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Energy and Renewable Energy by offering employers a £1500.00 incentive.  Cameraon says that this scheme will “strengthen our economy by helping employers take on apprentices and ensure that the UK workforce has the skills that businesses need”
